The members of the Association de linguistique canadienne/Canadian Linguistic Association explore a rich diversity of topics related to Canada's linguistic landscape, including describing First Nations languages, Inuktitut, Canadian Englishes, les français d'ici (varieties of French in Canada), as well as many other languages. Our members contribute both empirical detail and theoretical perspectives on all aspects of language structure, language use and language change. This breadth of expertise will be richly reflected in the papers and poster sessions of our annual meeting.
